But the good part is, It has a new release date now.

Minecraft Dungeons
Minecraft Dungeons is an upcoming dungeon crawler game by Mojang, published by Xbox Game Studios.
The game is set to come out for Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
Although, it is not like Minecraft and it has no crafting or building. But, in focus on being a dungeon crawler game.
So, In Minecraft Dungeon, you explore randomly generated dungeons, filled with randomly generated monsters. The player also deals traps, puzzles, and finding treasures. There is no class system at all in Minecraft Dungeon. Like players can use any weapon or armor they wish.
It will have up to four-players local and online multiplayer.
Delays in Minecraft Dungeons Release date
Unfortunately, due to work from home, Mojang said that the expected April release isn’t going to happen. The studio didn’t provide any specific reasons for the delay. But it had warned of a possible pushbacks due to the coronavirus outbreak earlier in March.
Whereas, on twitter Minecraft Dungeon tweeted that, “As we’re working from home to do our part in protecting our community, our workflows will, unfortunately, be impacted. We’re working hard to deliver Minecraft Dungeons in April, but we’re also re-evaluating our timeline to make sure we bring you the best game possible.”
Minecraft Dungeon Price
$19.99 will be the cost for the basic Minecraft Dungeon. But there is also a Hero edition that will cost $29.99. The special hero edition includes a hero pass along with few additional cosmetic items, such as the Hero cap, 2 player skins, and a chicken pet.
Further, 2 DLC packs are also part of this special hero edition.
Christopher Perkin about Minecraft Dungeon
Christopher Perkin, a Canadian American game designer said about Minecraft Dungeon release that,
“One of Minecraft Dungeon’s biggest potential strengths, apart from the whole “being Minecraft” thing, is that it’s a very streamlined hack-and-slasher”.

Moreover, he added, “There are no classes or skills, and so abilities and powers are granted by gear and artifacts acquired through gameplay. Similarly, combat isn’t overly complex but still satisfying “speedy, messy, and colorful”.
Minecraft Dungeon Release date
As everyone is working from home in this condition around the world, the development team of Minecraft Dungeon also working remotely and that’s slowing things down.
Previously, the developers said their release will be in April 2020 but due to this unexpected condition around the globe, they announced a new date for the release of Minecraft Dungeon.
According to the development team and Mojang, Minecraft Dungeons release date will be the 26th of May 2020.
